Lubov Vishnevska Lubov Vishnevska was born in the South of Russia on September 30, 1957 in the city of Krasnodar. It seems as though her very birthplace has defined her career. Her parents' house with plenty of picturesque flowers around, the streets with the south sun pouring over and the sounds of the sea will always stay in her heart. Because her grandmother was an artist, Lubov gained serious experience in realistic painting since her very youth studying in the children's school of arts. She has been educated in the Krasnodar Art Academy, an institution, which has been following the traditions of the Old Russian school. The names of A.K. Sovrasov, V.D. Polenov, V.A. Serov, I.I. Shishkin, K.A. Korovin are in the history of the school forever and form the pride and glory of the Russian realistic painting. In 1978 Lubov Vishnevska moved to Moscow to continue her studies and exhibit her works in both galleries and major exhibitions. A rare gift of Vishnevska is her keen sense of color, which she uses successfully to sustain a certain mood in her compositions. She frequently makes creative trips to the countries of Europe and her paintings can be found in both corporate and private collections in Italy, France, Poland, Greece, England and the U.S.A. Lubov works mostly in the genre of still life and landscape. Robert Paul Galleries is proud to bring the paintings of Lubov Vishnevska to the American collector.
