John Olson
John Clarke Olson was born in Berlin, Connecticut in 1942. After moving to Vermont in 1967 with his wife and two children, he has continued work as a part time artist specializing in oil painting.
Mr. Olson’s works hang in Vermont galleries and private collections throughout the United States, the Canadian Provinces and other countries around the world. These paintings are also represented in corporate collections and numerous financial institutions. He is an active member of Vermont Art Associations and exhibits widely, winning awards from shows and exhibitions all over the New England area.
He paints in a realistic style using oils in a conventional manner. Mr. Olson also paints on location, which allows him to create the mood and atmosphere of the many rural landscapes which surround New England.
