Don Landwehrle
Don Landwehrle attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where he received his BFA in Photographic Illustration.
He has over 20 years of commercial photography experience using equipment ranging from traditional 35mm up to and including the latest digital cameras. While it is important to use the appropriate equipment, choosing the correct format for optimal results is equally as important. Don Landwehrle is trained in traditional B&W and color film processing and is an expert in digital image manipulation.
Before moving to Stowe, he lived and worked in New York. While there, he did work for many well-known companies in the New York City area. His clientele included IBM, Computer Associates, Nikon, Epson, Panasonic, The Discovery Channel, TDK, Yamaha, and Hertz to name a few.
His Vermont clients include the Stowe Mountain Resort, Sugarbush Resort, Copley Hospital, Johnson State College, Trapp Family Lodge and many other local resorts. His photographs and editorials have been published in Vermont Life, Outdoor Life, Ski, Skiing, Snowboarding, and TransWorld Snowboarding magazines.
Don is also an image bank photographer and active member of Getty Images in NY, the worlds leading stock photography agency.
Being an experienced scuba diver, hiker and skier has enabled Don to capture many unique photographs from locations unreachable to most people.
